Was born on 26 November 1946 in the village of Romantiškės, region of Zarasai.

In 1964 graduated from secondary school.
In 1975 graduated from the Faculty of Accounting of Vilnius University and obtained qualification of economist.

From 1963 to 1965 – Worker in the factory “Elfa”.
From 1966 to 1967 – Accountant in Vilnius Communications Centre of the Ministry of Communications.
From 1967 to 1977 – Chief Accountant in the Committee of Communist Youth of Vilnius City.
From 1977 to 1988 – Head of Finance and Economy Division of the Ministry of Justice.
From 1988 to 1992 – Head of Economics Division of the Ministry of Justice.
From 1992 to 1998 – Director of Finances and Economy Department of the Ministry of Justice.
From 1998 to 2001 – Director of Finances and Accounting Department of the Ministry of Justice.
From 2001 to 2006 – Director of Finances Department of the Ministry of Justice.
On 16 August 2006 started working as the Chancellor of the Prosecutor General’s Office.


On 25 June 2004 by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Lithuania was presented with Order “Fore Merits to Lithuania” Cross of the Knight.

Married. Has a son.

Spends her leisure time reading books, picnicking, travelling.
