DEPUTY PROSECUTOR GENERAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA

 

 

 
Born 27 June 1975 in Kaunas region.

In 1993 – graduated 2^nd secondary school of Varėna.
1998 – graduated the Law Academy of Lithuania, acquired lawyer’s qualification.  
2002 – graduated the Law Faculty of Vilnius University, acquired lawyer’s qualification.

1996–1999 – rifleman, inspector of VIP Security Department under the Ministry of Interior.
1999–2003 – prosecutor of the Dictrict Prosecutor's Office of Vilnius Region.
2003–2004 – prosecutor of the Third (Organization of Pretrial Investigation of Serious Crimes) Division of Vilnius Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
2004–2010 – prosecutor of the Pretrial Investigation Control Division of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Lithuania.


By the Decree of 12 July 2010 of the President of the Republic of Lithuania Darius Raulušaitis was appointed the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Lithuania.

By the Decree of 12 July 2010 of the President of the Republic of Lithuania Deputy Prosecutor General Darius Raulušaitis was granted the qualification degree of the State Adviser for Justice.


Knows Russian and English languages.
Married. Has a son and a daughter.
