TOMAS STANIULIS
DEPUTY PROSECUTOR GENERAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA

Born 27 July 1975 in Prienai.
1993 – graduated 1st secondary school of Prienai (the present “Žiburys” gymnasium).
2000 – graduated the Law Faculty of Vilnius University, acquired lawyer’s qualification.
1998–1999 – prosecutor-trainee of the Dictrict Prosecutor's Office of Prienai Region.
1999–2003 – prosecutor of the Dictrict Prosecutor's Office of Prienai Region.
2003–2006 – prosecutor of the First (Organisation of Pretrial Investigation of Very Serious Crimes) Division of Kaunas Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
2006–2010– Chief Prosecutor of the Dictrict Prosecutor's Office of Kaunas Region.
By the Decree of 3 August 2010 of the President of the Republic of Lithuania Tomas Staniulis was appointed the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Lithuania.
By the Decree of 3 August 2010 of the President of the Republic of Lithuania Deputy Prosecutor General Tomas Staniulis was granted the qualification degree of the State Adviser for Justice.
Knows Russian and English languages.
Married. Has a son.
